Give Thanks!

Ly-Shu's family came over for dinner tonight. I made a sea food pasta with alfredo sauce and it actually turned out quite well. Mike and Ly-Shu bought me a nice bottle of red wine, which we shared during dinner. I haven't had anything to drink for a while so I felt a little bit tipsy after just a little bit. After dinner we headed to Vivo Gelato (I think that's what it's called) and I had some Hazelnut Expresso (yum!). When we got home we played a round of poker, at Louis-Miguel's insistence :o) I think I'm getting better at this game now, I can't wait to play with the guys again so I can show them what I can do :oP I'm so thankful to have Ly-Shu in my life. It's amazing when you have a friend of whom you can share your faith with. It's like we are all connected, members of the big family of Christ.

I had a long conversation with Musquito tonight. I'm so grateful to have a sister like her. She is so strong and I'm so proud of her. She has said that I've become "transformed" into someone very "Holy". I find that slightly amused and I'm pleased to hear her say that. Musquito is always very willing to listen to what I have to say about God. I hope someday she will learn to love him like I do now!

God is so good to me. He's with me when I'm down and though at times it's trying, he builds up the trust I have for him in my heart so that I may always have joy inside me, no matter what the circumstances of my life is. In a way, I feel like he's putting me through some rigorous training (at times) to hang on to him for dear life. I thank God always, and I know that there's always hope to be found in our Lord Jesus Christ. Give thanks!
