Today I signed up for a course at Regent! I can't remember the last time that I have felt so excited about school, it's quite an amazing feeling really. I am looking forward to next term and seeing what it will all be like :o)
I feel very thankful that I have never had to worry about my financial situation. Today was I was walking out of region I realized that I had been focused on the part of my life that was imperfect and lamenting to God about why he had to put me in such a "position". I had neglected to see the fact that financial burden and stress is something that most people (a lot of people) around me have to deal with. And I felt thankful, that I had been blessed by God in this area. At the same time I thought about what this meant. What does he want me to do with this aspect of my life. Perhaps this is the area of my life where I've been holding back from God? The part of my life that I don't realize is a great blessing (but rather always took as the norm) is maybe the part of my life that I need to give up to God.... This is something to think about... And with me not having to worry about money, how could I turn this blessing into an action that would glorify God?
Exam tomorrow~ Ahhhhhhhh!
Was thinking about marriage again today. As Musquito is getting married soon (God bless them!) and planning on having a religious ceremony here in Vancouver sometime next year, I would most likely be helping her do a lot of the planning. This got me to thinking about who my future spouse would be again, and reminded me of my own hopes/anticipation/excitement about marriage and family. Somewhere out there, he is out there :o) Only God knows who he is, and I will keep praying for that day when I finally meet ther person he has chosen for me (wouldn't it be funny to come back and read this after the fact?) Cheers~
