Many thoughts have resonated in my mind lately. In all aspects of my life - church, school, relationships, stewardship - I have been and am experiencing God each day. But as I sit down to write tonight, to try to collect my thoughts, to try to re-capture those moments when the Holy Spirit touched my heart and I suddenly "got it", my mind is suddenly at a blank. It's nearing 2am and I am feeling a little tired, both from the events of the day, and the events of this past week. So, I am not going to write in specifics of the times when I both understood and felt God's love and Grace working in my life and the situations that I find myself in. I am just grateful, to be where I am today. I am grateful not because things are perfect in my life, but rather, that I feel that these days my walk with the Jesus is close enough for me to call Him a friend. He is in every aspect of my life, in my thoughts. I ponder about Him, I pray to him many times a day - He has truly become an integral part of my life. I find myself growing in trust, believing in the Power of the Sovereign God to do the work that we cannot do. I find myself thinking that I should pray about something first before doing anything, wow. But most of all, I find myself relying on God more, and on people less. I will keep praying, in all the situations of my life, I want to surrender to God, realizing that we are completely broken and that the only thing that could ever heal or fulfill us is the divine love of God.

What once was hurt
What once was friction
What left a mark
No longer stings
Because Grace makes beauty
Out of ugly things
