Wendy and David are back in town! I finally got to give her the Bible I bought for her from a while back and she brought Julie and I some great smelling soaps from NYC!!!
We all had dinner together for "American Thanksgiving". We had a bird, but it was a whole chicken cooked with Chinese herbs ;oP Things have been nice and busy these couple of days. I should really start studying. I've been praying to God to grant me the strength and focus I need to study efficiently. I feel that when things get busy, I tend to fall away from God a little. With Wendy's visit I've been focusing all my attention on her and David that I feel like I haven't been as close to God these few days. I think time alone to pray is important during busy times, and should be made a priority. Praying together has been great (as Julie, Wenzi and I last night!) but some alone time with God to confess to him fully on what's in my heart is essential as well. I feel like I really need that, so I can continue to keep my eyes focused on him :o)
