Sitting on the couch...

Today after dinner amidst a hundred little tasks here and there, I found myself sitting on my couch with Jesse on one side, and banana chips in my hands. I thought, "What am I doing with life? Where is this all going?" Then suddenly I thought, "This is nice, sitting here with Jesse on this very comfortable couch on a stormy night, eating some nice banana chips." The gratefulness in my heart just flowed out of nowhere, and I thank God for reminding me to treasure the little things in life that make it so marvelous!
