One in the Body of Christ

We held our first ever (annual?) coffee house for the 12:30 contemporary service tonight.  It went smooth ;o)  In the midst of the event, I can't quite remember when.  I looked around and I'm amazed at how well things came together.  And this is all due to the very hard work of some very dedicated people.  This was something new (at least for me) - to have had an event put together by some of the younger people in the congregation, and have it run very smoothly.  I feel that God is helping our congregation move one step ahead.

I thank all those who helped me out with running the whole event.  In fact, I don't feel like I even did very much.  I was completely amazed by the dedication of those who helped me and was touched by the togetherness I felt in a room with 3 different groups.  As Joey had put it on the power point, we were 3 groups, many stories, one God (or something along those lines).  I've only felt this a few times in my life, but tonight I felt the real meaning of being One in the Body of Christ.  As it was said tonight, we are many people, three groups, hundreds of stories, one God.  Thank you!
