LORD reign in me

I was especially struck by the words that we sang during service, in the song "Lord Reign in me". The words are so simple yet exactly the desires of my heart. I give my life over to Christ, and I ask that he be the ruler of my heart. I want to seek that relationship with God. For we are known so well by God, but he is so hard for us to comprehend. One thing I know is that he does provide, and he only wants the best for us. In our confusion he will guide, if we seek his will. And now in a dark hour, the LORD has given me a peace that surpasses all understanding. I feel like I can breathe. And for the one that I care for, I hand him over to God. God will take care of this child that he so loves. I have to stop being "God" and think that I am responsible for someone else's happiness. The truth is, God can take care better than I can ever. So in everything, Lord I put my trust in you.
